I'm still looking for a full time job. It's getting kind of tiring looking and applying week after week and waiting. I'm hoping that I'll get a call for an interview. My only fear is that I'll be overqualified for a job. I have a B.S. and a M.S. in education and special education but I don't want to go into teaching until we are back in Kentucky. (evidently they don't like hiring military spouses here b/c of the moving-understandable but at the same time...COME ON!) I'm hoping to stay in the education loop though by working for the school system-County or DOD. I just want a job that brings in enough money for child care AND enough left over so we can visit home, take fun weekend trips to parks and/or museums, and be able to breathe at the end of the day knowing that we actually have some money in the bank :) I'm praying that the right opportunity will come my way and I'm just going to keep on trucking forward.
Brandon is home for another 3 weeks or so since his ACL replacement last week. It's nice having him home and getting some free time, like now, to just do what I want to do :) I'm also getting laundry caught up and actually managing to clean for more than 5 minutes! He's a good daddy-the best I could have asked for :)
Lastly-I'm almost to my goal of pre-preg weight by my birthday :) I have 9 pounds to go! I haven't been exercising as much as I'd like but I'm taming my portions and cravings. So far-I'm down 16 lbs since February! I'm proud of myself! I know my body will NEVER look like it use to but with diabetes on both sides of my family, this weightloss is a must!
