It's funny how stuff just happens for you! You come home and realize your husband's girlfriend is at your house...you file for divorce (still waiting)...and then, amazingly...you find love!! I just wanted to make record of the wild and crazy, but satisfying ride my life has been on since August.
August 2007
-He tells me he doesn't love me anymore, he's not attracted to me anymore, and he doesn't want to have kids (which we'd been trying to accomplish for the past 6 months)
-We sleep in two separate bedrooms and talk only on random occasions...like roommates that hate eachother
-I begin talking to my good friend's cousin who is in the USMC. He wants us to meet but like every other woman in the world, I'm holding out hope that my husband will get off his high horse and want to be with me...
October 2007
-I permanantly move out...I stay with my friend Mer first and eventually end up living with my parents sharing a room with my 12 year old sister...now that's fun!
-My grandmother, who has dementia :-), has decided to buy a house in Frankfort and my parents suggest I live with her to help her out...great idea!
-Still talking to the marine...we have a great connection and talk on the phone for hours at a time
November 2007
-Thanksgiving Day I go to the house and he and his girlfriend are both there...lucky for them I'm the bigger man and I walk away.
-Thanksgiving Night...Mr. USMC asks me to be his gf...I accept :-)
-Monday November 26 I file for divorce!!!
-B comes to visit, driving 11 hrs just to meet me...how sweet! I'm so excited that my parents tease me. They also add some words that I never thought I'd hear "We've never seen you so happy!"
December 2007
-I go to NC to visit B We have an awesome weekend and it sucks to go!
-Mid Dec. I go to NC again!! I told him about my past and my family life and something about him changes...on the way home, he breaks up with me. Yeah that sucked!
-Dec. 27...I go to a movie with M...that was enjoyable but my heart still belongs to B
-Dec. 29...I go ice skating with M...still talking to B everyday...he's talking to another girl
-New Year's Eve...I'm at M's and B's at K's in IL... (lots of letters lol) I wait for midnight hoping he'd remember our promise to eachother to send pics of us puckering for a midnight kiss...it didn't happen :-( I am sooo sad!
January-March 2008
-M and I are a couple and we start talking about serious stuff...he even bought a ring!!! I go to visit his family in IN and we get along great. He tells them that I'm the one.
-B comes into town and we meet up...I can't shake the feeling that he's my match
-M says inappropriate things to my BFF and says he was "joking"
-I forgive M but things aren't the same
-I'm at M's and he tries to make me do things I don't want to do...I feel like I'm 9 again...I'm done with M
April 2008
-B comes to town and we get back together
-I meet B's family...they are awesome!!! We go bowling and play board games...AWW!!
-B and I realize that there's a reason our paths crossed...we take long walks at the park and hang out everyday that he's here...
May 2008
-At 5:30 pm on a Friday...I decide to drive to NC just to see B...I get there at 5:00 AM Sat...
-I meet his closest friends at Camp Lejeune and we all watch the KY Derby together. They are awesome!
-B's friends say they really like me and ask when we are getting married LOL!!
-B and I are thinking of having a baby together after my divorce is final!! I can't wait
-Present day: we are still together and truly, madly, deeply in love <3
