So today will mark a milestone for me and Brandon...I'm taking him to a cookout with my dad's family! Talk about baptism by fire LOL!! It's gonna be at my uncle Billy's so I know it will be a blast! I told him I hoped he liked frog legs!! As for me...I'm hoping they dont' scare him off!! ;-) The more time I spend with his family, the more I realize that we had the same upbringing...good ol' country living. It's very cool! I was at his house lastnight til about 1 this morning just hanging out and talking...his mom several times said "yeah, she's gonna fit right in with this family" I'm so happy! I have 4 days of school left and then it's summertime!! Of course, I'll be teaching classes at the library...but it's DEFINITELY worth it for the $$. I'm starting to get sick of living with my NANA but at the same time enjoy paying off my debt. I hope to be out of it soon...
I'm also thankful that my ex-husband has found someone that he can be happy with. They seem to have a lot in common and I hope that works out for him. I worry about the age difference but who am I to judge...men mature more slowly so it could be just about right for him! LOL!! It seems that we're both doing fine even though it's still weird to think about divorcing. At this point, I forget we were even married...that's probably not healthy. All I can say is...keep Puck and Yoda safe and don't neglect them!
