So this weekend was fun! We celebrated a friend's birthday! She and I went and had pedicures, which was a Godsend-even though it made my feet swell even more! LOL!! My back was a little stiff and so I turned on the massage chair-bad idea! That sent me into BH contractions, with pain...new for me! When we were finished, the guy doing my feet said "Your feet are really swollen"...I just smiled, pointed to my stomach and said "It's her fault". My feet may be bigger than Texas but they are cute! LOL! Afterwards, we went putt-putt golfing...I hadn't been since middle/high school??? Can't really remember! It was a lot of fun but those holes were hard to make!! It was a bit crazy! After that, we went out to eat and she bought her first legal drink :) Good food, good friends, good times! I still haven't been able to eat a piece of her cake-it's still in the fridge waiting for me!
Well after that day, we were pooped! We went to bed and I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I had an accident LOL! So I ran to the bathroom but nothing was a sign of that happening...my next thought was "I'm leaking amniotic fluid!" I was freaked out! I woke Brandon up and let him know and told him I was going to keep an eye on it...it stopped so I didnt' think any more about it. The next day I was having major pressure when walking. It was so so odd! So, I finally broke down last night and called Labor and Delivery to see what they thought. I don't want to be that first time mom that freaks every time something changes but at the same time, this is my first and I don't want to ignore things that could be serious. They told me to monitor it for the night and to call my doctor today and tell them I need to be seen today to check and be sure I don't have a UTI or anything. Okay-first off, I wanted to slap her...I know it's not a UTI!! Second-my doctor's office is not going to get me in today...they are too slow and unhelpful to do that! On top of that-I have an appointment on the 27th...L&D said I needed to be seen before then though. So, I will call in a bit and see what they can do. I know I won't get in, but maybe if I use L&D as my reason they will listen to me a little more closely.
Five more weeks...I hope it will be over soon!! I'm ready!
